Blog #20 - The Nostalgic Needle Exhibition

Wednesday,  5 November  2014  -

As per my last blog, the Saturday and Sunday of Labour Weekend,
the Needlework Gallery was open for anyone
who wished to visit and view a special needlework exhibition -
finished pieces of needlework designed by
Sharon Cohen of The Nostalgic Needle.

As per the
display poster,
these pieces
for exhibition
were due
to the loan of them
by my lovely friend,
Elizabeth Darrah
of Auckland
who is a very
accomplished
needlewoman.

They were beautiful.

To follow are some photos of the displays and a few close-ups
of some of the pieces.

A lot of Nostalgic Needle designs are no longer available,
but some patterns/designs of the pieces are still available from the Gallery.

If so, details - design title, code and price - of those available are listed.

Note:  Once designs have been sold -

These designs will no longer be available from Heirlooms.

For some unknown reason, I am unable/the blog programme
will not allow me to add any more images or content to this blog
and so will have will have to sign off
and show the remaining photos of the Nostalgic Needle
pieces on display in my next blog.

Every time I did add an image, it pasted them on top of those
that were already there!

And, for some reason, I have a huge blank area after signing off!!

And I don't know how to get rid of it.
Highlighting and then deleting the area hasn't worked!!

Oh dear, I wish I was a "techy" person.
